Working on a short order basis, we are able to respond quickly to the market demand by controlling all aspects of the supply chain from design through to distribution. The Role We’re looking for commercially minded individuals to join Kacoo Fashion Ltd as a Merchandiser. The key task will be to liaise with factories to ensure our products are delivered at the right place at the right time. The role is fast pace and will require an individual who is good at communicating across functional teams. Duties will include: · Maintain the critical path for one of our Key Accounts to ensure production runs to schedule · Create sales / purchase orders using SAP · Negotiate prices and deliveries with factories in the Far East · Liaise with shipping and deliveries · Communicate with internal departments on a daily basis · Organizing fit sessions · Day to day admin The person · Methodical · Competent with multi-tasking · Self motivated, resilient and able to work quickly and accurately · Fluent English and Mandarin (written and verbal) · Strong PC and Microsoft Excel skills · Eligible to work in the UK on a full-time basis · Previous merchandise experience is not essential but it is advantageous If this position is of interest, please submit your CV to HR@glamorous.com

Working from our head office, located in Manchester city centre, the successful Garment Technologist will be working across a multi-product area for our labels Glamorous and True Decadence. Duties and Responsibilities: · Measuring garments for either core, tall, petite and/ maternity sizes · Attending fit sessions and advising on technical problems · Compiling comprehensive comments for factories, using size specifications, diagrams and photographs to ensure full understanding of the amendments required · Maintaining critical path to ensure that deadlines are met · Creating initial garment size specifications · Sealing for production and checking shipment samples · AQL knowledge · Using knowledge of pattern cutting to improve fit / construction The Person: To be considered for this position you must have demonstrable experience as a Garment Technologist with some experience with either maternity, tall or petite sizes. You’ll be working within a small diverse team and you’ll need be a confident problem solver and adaptable to last minute requests.
