This post requires the ability to work independently and with minimum supervision. It will involve a variety of skills. You need to have sound organisational skills, an ability to manage a varied workload, responsive and have a flexible attitude. A good working knowledge of Word and Excel, the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people and organisations, and the willingness to support other team members is essential. It is an office based position, full time. The ideal candidate needs to be bi-lingual in both Mandarin and English, experience in a similar role would be an advantage but not mandatory. You need to be a self-starter, reliable, honest, an excellent team player, can work under pressure and multi task. Initial training will be provided. Our salary offer will be between £18,000-£20,000 per annum depending on experiences. The job responsibilities include: - research on products markets - products sourcing - define potential suppliers or manufacturers and make recommendations to the director - negotiate buying price - liaise from beginning to end - place orders and re-order - follow up with the manufacturing process - liaison with logistic companies for shipping arrangement and other relevant responsibilities - stock monitoring through company data systems -PA duty to do with products as and when required Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
