Today, our labels our truly global and can be found in over 30 countries worldwide. The Role Working in an open-plan office, you will be working full-time as an Import Merchandiser. Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to: · · · Maintaining a critical path · Negotiating prices and deliveries with factories in China the Far East India and the UK · Raising Orders · Order labels, trims etc. · Monitor orders from chasing samples to approval of lab dips, fabric and trims to maintain delivery dates · Working closely with factories to ensure production and deliveries are on time The person The successful candidate will be working within a fast pace environment and so it is essential that you can work quickly and most importantly, accurately. You must also be competent with multi-tasking and working as part of a team to ensure products get to the right place at the agreed times. You will therefore need to have excellent communication skills and must be a strong negotiator. An intermediate knowledge of Excel is essential.
