Job responsibilities 1. Responsible for the day to day supervision of the boarders and ensuring the maintenance of high sanitary standards; assisting them in developing healthy and productive lifestyles. 2. Raising the students’ awareness of codes of conduct and acceptable manners. 3. Making it a practice to engage the students in meaningful social activities in order to broaden their horizons and enrich their lives. 4. Keeping close contact with respective schools, so as to be up to date with their academic performance and general behaviour, as well as being able to offer feedback for improvement. 5. Being attentive to the health, safety and security of the children and making sure their psychological well being is protected. 6. Establishing good relationships with parents and stakeholders and ensuring effective feedback mechanisms. 7. Helping students to share their difficulties and anxieties in a timely and safe manner; actively engaging in the resolution of their problems. Qualifications 1. An educational background above college level, with good English language skills; a major in Education would be an advantage. 2. Hard-working, with a strong sense of responsibility, over two years’ managerial experience preferable. 3. Must be thoughtful and of a cheerful disposition, with excellent communication skills 4. Good at cooking and looking after children. 5. Three-years or more studying and living experience in Britain, with a clean driving license preferred.
